Nigeria has a total area of 923,768 km² (356,669 mi²), making it the world′s 32nd-largest country after Tanzania. It is comparable in size to Venezuela, about twice the size of California.
Rwanda is a landlocked country in Central Africa. It borders Burundi for 290 km, the Democratic Republic of the Congo for 217 km, Tanzania for 217 km, and Uganda for 169 km.
The islands of São Tomé and Príncipe, constitute Africa′s second smallest country. São Tomé is 50 km (31 miles) long and 32 km (20 miles). Its peaks reach 2,024 m (6,640 ft). Príncipe is about 30 km (19 miles) long and 6 km (4 miles) wide.
The country′s total area is 196 190 km² making Senegal slightly smaller than Britain or the U.S. state of South Dakota.
Sierra Leone covers a total area of 71,740 km² (27,699 sq mi). It is slightly smaller than South Carolina.

At 470,979 sq mi (1,219,912 km²), South Africa is the 25th-largest country in the world (after Mali). It is comparable in size to Colombia.
